Kylie Jenner was recently blasted by trolls and her own fans for donning a disturbing ‘lion’s head’ dress at Paris fashion week.
The beauty mogul was not spared from criticism across the board when she decided to don a look inspired by the famous ‘Beauty and the Beast’ story that had critics baffled at her choice of attire.
Just the thought of donning a lion’s head in front of a live audience and being such a popular celeb with millions of fans had people second-guessing her decision. Some even went as far as bashing her decision to wear the whole gown in the first, calling it horrendous and her worst fashion look to date.
The celeb did put up an image of herself in the ensemble and made sure she cleared the air if there was some sort of misunderstanding regarding the look.
Kylie gave her trolls, haters, and critics a reality check by mentioning how the lion’s head was in fact completely fake and made of synthetic materials including faux fur.
That was a huge relief for animal lovers and activists who do tend to become more active during fashion week than anyone else.
She even sent out a notice that spoke about how the celeb had taken full approval from the PETA to wear such a look at Paris fashion week for leading designer label Schiaparelli.
Interestingly, she was not the only one in that gown. Model Irina Shayk was seen marketing the same ensemble while walking the runway for the same designer. And with Kylie Jenner seated front row, it was definitely a fashion showdown of who wore it better.
But fans did not appreciate the look one bit. Some couldn’t help but use the most awful terms including horrifying, tragic, disturbing, and shameful. They also mentioned how it’s a negative step that could soon see people hunting lions for ridiculous purposes like fashion. Do you agree?
