A father of two beautiful children was reportedly stabbed to death by his own girlfriend while he was on a video call.
According to local media outlets, 48-year-old Matt Harper sustained the worst injuries while he was inside his residence at Bali in Indonesia.
Harper had no idea that his 40-year-old partner Emmy Pakpahan who hails from Indonesia would end up killing him via a brutal attack that he certainly did not see coming.
At that time, Harper was on a video call with his family who resides in the United Kingdom.
While speaking to his stepdaughter and his ex-wife via the phone call, authorities claim, the attack took place and it certainly took everyone by surprise.
Harper hailed from Gloucester in the United Kingdom and reportedly worked for a luxury hotel named Karma. He was seeing his Indonesian lover since last July, as reported by his friends.
The duo seemed to be happy and in love together, which is why he had come all the way to pay her a visit to her hometown.
After carrying out the horrifying crime, the woman from Indonesia went on to mention to authorities that Harper had taken his own life.

Moreover, she even went about putting forward video footage that featured Harper on the floor, while he was taking his final breath, which is known to be minutes after she carried out the attack. She even explained to authorities how he managed to lock the doors and for that reason, she just couldn’t enter.
This was done to portray a false scene of how he intentionally opted to impose self-inflicted harm upon himself.
“I just don’t know what happened. I just don’t know anything,” are her words as she sobs throughout the clip.
Now, she is in the custody of the Bali police, who have arrested her upon suspicion of murder.
