Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a 25-year-old disabled woman who reportedly died after suffering from paralysis.
Now, Southwest Airlines is coming under fire after the woman was reportedly denied help from the plane’s crew members despite falling from her wheelchair on the plane’s walkway.
The family says the woman was disabled and in a wheelchair but no one helped her. In fact, she got zero attention from crew members aboard the flight who turned their faces away during a time when she needed them the most.
It all took place when her electrically powered wheelchair reportedly hit a major junction in the jet bridge at the airport.
That junction caused her to fall off of her wheelchair and slam against the ground.
The incident caused her severe pain and injuries because she landed on her head. Moreover, she broke her neck and even damaged her spinal cord. As a result of that, she got paralyzed from her neck downwards and was not even allowed to speak.
After battling for her life in the hospital for so long, she finally lost the struggle and passed away tragically yesterday. This brought tears to so many people’s eyes and the news really had the world stunned at the cruel treatment she was forced to witness by the airline’s staff members.
Her parents broke the tragic news today while wiping their tears away.
“It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that we announce the passing away of our daughter”- they went on to add.
This was followed by heartbreaking images of her struggles to even come close to normalcy after leading one of the most difficult lives of them all.
