The uncle of the man accused of kidnapping the billionaire heiress in Tennessee has spoken out.
On Friday morning, 34-year-old teacher and mother-of-two Eliza Fletcher was ambushed and forced into an SUV while jogging in Memphis.
The prime suspect has since been identified as 38-year-old Cleotha Abston who was recently released from prison and has a long rap sheet including aggravated assault, kidnapping, and rape.
Abston’s uncle, 69-year-old Nathaniel Isaac, has now spoken out and told DailyMail.com that he is 100 percent sure his nephew was behind the abduction of the young kindergarten teacher.
“My whole f***ing family’s wacky. They always have been. They’re not beloved to me because they’re nuts. It’s the truth. Go check the police records for the Abstons,” Isaac said in a bombshell interview.
“You’ll find they’re all perpetrators of something. My wife’s son stayed locked up. Mario is arrested now for drugs and carrying a gun.
“And Cleo, I’m 100 percent sure he had something to do with her abduction. Can I prove it? No.”
Isaac, who married into the Abston family, went on to reveal that Cleotha’s mother went into hiding after both of her sons were arrested.
“She’s in hiding. That’s why she’s not here now. She’s very upset about what happened,” the 69-year-old said.
He added: “I’ve seen the news, hopefully that poor woman’s still alive. You can always hope.”
The interview comes just hours after the police found a body in the search for the kidnapped billionaire heiress.
According to the reports, the body was discovered in a wooded area in Memphis close to the home of Cleotha’s brother Mario.
As of this writing, the body has yet to be identified, meaning it remains unclear if it belongs to Fletcher or not.
