The Turpin siblings have revealed some more gruesome stories about their parents and their horrifying crimes, adding how their parents also used religion, at times, to justify their cruel behavior.
33-year-old Jennifer and 21-year-old Joran Turpin spilled the beans on their parents’ evil and heinous crimes against their own kids and how they managed to escape the ‘house of horrors,’ just before it was too late.
Speaking with Diane Sawyer in their breakthrough interview, they revealed the great extremes that their partners forced them to go through as their mom and dad, Louise and David, held their children captive for years.
Not only were the young and innocent kids threatened with a belt and some sticks, but they were also informed about how if they did not plan on behaving, their parents would resort to chaining their bodies against their own beds, and pulling their hair too.
In the same way, they spoke about how they also made use of the Holy Christian Book to justify the cruel manner in which they treated all of their siblings.
“They used to love to point out a number of things when it came down to Deuteronomy, adding how they had every right in the world to carry out such mean and inhuman behavior against them,” the girls revealed.
Till today, they revealed how the sounds of their parents chanting, “We have all the right in the world to carry out this behavior,” was just something they felt was beyond them.
“They even used to say how they had the right to kill us if we failed to listen to them,” the Turpin sister duo revealed.
After being rescued, the children were all taken into the custody and care of social services, in an effort to make them come back to their normal daily lives like every other child in America, as stated in the interview.
