A 19-year-old man has been accused of abusing two women while standing in line to witness the late Queen.
According to local media outlets, the royal event took a horrifying turn for two women who waited patiently to see the Queen lying in the state, but to their absolute horror and disgust, they had no idea about what was in store for them.
The women were abused by the man while waiting for their turn. And that’s when they immediately notified the security guards standing there on alert. Unfortunately, as confirmed by local media outlets, the suspect managed to evade the cops by jumping directly into the River Thames.
Westminister Hall had just opened its gates for the public on Wednesday and seeing such an incident took place on the first day is just troublesome for officials.
He was identified as Adio Adeshine, who exposed himself on purpose by pushing into the queue where so many mourners had gathered to pay their final respects to her Majesty. But he managed to sneak in from behind and carry out the mortifying act at the Victoria Tower Gardens on Wednesday.
After the shocking and bizarre ordeal, people are asking authorities to step up security as thousands gather in large crowds; hence, such incidents can easily occur again.
Also, the fact that people are standing so close to one another means there are zero checks and balances kept.
What are your thoughts on this absolutely horrifying ordeal? Do you think the security guards could have done more to prevent such an unfortunate incident from taking place or not? Let us know, and be sure to SHARE the story with others too!
