The former US president has weighed in on Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trial as he mockingly called the pair a lovely couple.
With the notorious trial drawing close to its end, Donald Trump decided to add to the debate by mocking the couple and calling their allegations “many & salacious” in his Truth Social post.
“Has anybody been watching the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial? What a lovely couple,” the former president began.
He then quickly took a jab at Heard and Depp as well as The Washington Post whom Trump apparently referred to as a “tiny” outlet.
“First of all, Johnny sued her for writing an article in a tiny ‘outlet,’ that practically nobody read, because he didn’t want to get bad publicity. How did that work out?” Trump went on.
“She countersued for $100 million. The charges are many & salacious, the nicest of which is that she threw a bottle at him and it took off his finger – She must have a Sandy Koufax type arm.”
Concluding his viral post, the former president joked: “Will they get back together and live happily in PEACE?”
The post comes shortly after Trump took a jab at another celebrity couple – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In an April interview with Piers Morgan, the former US president urged the Queen to strip the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of their titles before predicting that Harry will go running back to his family in the UK after Meghan dumps him.
“I’m not a fan of Meghan, and I wasn’t from the beginning. Poor Harry is being led around by his nose. And I think he’s an embarrassment,” Trump said.
“I want to know what’s going to happen when Harry decides he’s had enough of being bossed around. Or maybe when she decides that she likes some other guy better. I want to know what’s going to happen when it ends, okay.
“I’ve been a very good predictor, as you know. I predicted almost everything. It’ll end and it’ll end bad. And I wonder if Harry’s gonna go back on his hands and knees back into the beautiful city of London and say, please. You know, I think Harry has been led down a path.”
He continued: “Harry is whipped. I won’t use the full expression but Harry is whipped like no person I think I’ve ever seen.”
