According to local media outlets, the leading British broadcasting network expressed its deep regrets over the situation and issued a global apology for incorrectly announcing such news that may have hurt so many people’s sentiments.
The news went viral on social media and many began to bash the platform for poor journalism and playing with people’s feelings during this difficult time in the country.

As it is, tension is growing in the country and around the globe as many fear for the worst after Buckingham Palace issued a recent statement about how the Queen was unwell and they were deeply concerned about her health.
Meanwhile, doctors have requested the Queen be kept under strict health supervision. But after that, no such updates regarding her Majesty’s health had been provided.
After the news, the Monarch’s close family members were seen rushing by her bedside. This included the likes of Prince Charles and Camilla who first arrived via a Royal helicopter. After that, Royal Jet arrived in Scotland which had Prince William, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward onboard with Sophie.
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle were nowhere to be found. The former is in Windsor as all of her kids attended their first day of school. However, she is scheduled to make her way to Scotland soon, as confirmed by local media outlets.
On the other hand, Meghan Markle will reportedly not be traveling to Scotland and has instead chosen to stay back in London while Harry is currently on his way.
Yalda Hakim from BBC tweeted, “I had incorrectly tweeted that there was a report about the Queen’s death. This was incorrect and I apologize. There was no such announcement and I have deleted the tweet. I am deeply sorry!”- she confirmed.
