Horrifying reports of a train crash in the southern part of Germany are reaching us today, where four people have been confirmed dead and more than a dozen injured.
The horrifying incident is stated to have taken place in the German city of Munich today where the train reportedly derailed from its track and crashed, causing panic, horror, and fear amongst those situated nearby.
Emergency services are believed to be scrambling in search of survivors near the renowned ski resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, as stated by cops during the hours of the morning.
Horrifying footage had recently been released from the site of the tragedy that featured crumpled-up double-decker carriages that were located on one side of the train track while debris was seen being scattering around.
Some passengers revealed stunned and speechless as others couldn’t even begin to imagine what had just occurred.
So many of the passengers were believed to be stranded inside the vehicle and that’s when footage showed them being rescued while others decided to climb out of the windows themselves with their suitcases close behind.
At the moment, rescue workers are still busy scrambling and arriving at the scene of the tragedy as authorities have cordoned off the area so they can begin an immediate investigation into the terrifying incident.
Firefighters were also seen arriving at the scene of the horror as they made their way to chop down so many trees so that they could gain access to the wreckage of the train.
“People are in the midst of being rescued. And they are some that are being taken out from the windows”- mentioned on police spokesperson.
He also stated how all of the survivors were among those that had been seriously injured, one way or the other.
