A horrifying road accident has occurred in Kent recently where a female paramedic has reportedly been killed while three others were severely wounded.
Local media reports have gone on to reveal how the female paramedic died in the horrifying incident where an ambulance collided with a cement lorry last night.
As a result, a major emergency service response started to scramble towards the coastbound carriageway In Sevenoaks at about 8 pm.
Three medical staff members happened to be traveling inside the ambulance that evening during the time of the crash but they were not transporting any patient at that time.
A number of crews attended to the scene and this includes one major air ambulance service, along with police and several other members of the fire department.
Despite so many people’s efforts to try and save all those involved in the tragic accident, one female paramedic died at the site of the crash.
Meanwhile, one male member from the paramedics sustained a number of critical injuries and was airlifted towards London’s King College Hospital. In the same way, another student paramedic was also rushed to the hospital after suffering a head injury.
The driver of the lorry suffered a small number of injuries miraculously.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague and our heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to her loved ones, friends, and colleagues during this very hard time,” stated the SECAmb Executive Director of Operations.
In the same way, the statement also sent out prayers for all the injured staff members, including those who quickly responded to the site of the crash.
At the moment, the authorities are helping the police with any inquires so they can carry out a proper investigation to discover what the matter really is and what potentially led to the accident.
In the same way, they’re also requesting for any witnesses to come forward and contact them regarding information that they may know or have seen.
