The police searching for 31-year-old Chelsea Allen has reportedly made a tragic discovery.

According to local media reports, her body was recently found in the woodland, forcing authorities to call off the urgent hunt that was announced after she had vanished eight days back.

Allen is believed to have left her residence without any contact or trace. She is believed to have walked out with no money or phone either, confirmed her parents to the police.

And now, hearing the tragic news about the cops finding her body is just beyond devastating for so many to comprehend.

Chelsea Allen vanished from her residence which was located in Helmsley in North Yorkshire, at about 3 am at night.

She was believed to be an army chef whose sudden disappearance was definitely something out of character for her. And that’s what made the mystery so much more bizarre and worse, explained her parents.

While formal identification of the body is yet to be done by the medical examiner’s office, the officers do believe the dead remains do belong to her.

At the moment, the cops are not treating the death as something too suspicious. But they do hope to find more clues as the investigation continues. “The chef’s family has been informed about the tragedy”- they revealed.

The gruesome discovery came at a time when her parents requested the cops for assistance in recovering their beautiful daughter but they never hoped to hear their fears come to life as they did this morning.

The veteran was described as a woman with a heart of gold and someone that was dedicated to her profession and always did things with great passion.

A week ago, she was last seen through CCTV footage leaving Helmsley and that’s when the alert was generated.
