Two teenagers have reportedly passed away in a tragic car crash after their vehicle slammed into a tree.
According to local media reports, news of the horrifying incident reached paramedics who rushed to the scene of the tragedy in Coventry.
The exact time was noted to be 5:20 in the morning on Saturday as authorities found the car’s driver and one passenger in critical condition.
Both the victims were just 18 years old and had sadly passed away, moments after they were discovered at the location in Burns Road.
Moreover, the West Midlands Police revealed how there were two other boys that were present with the victims.
They also suffered serious injuries and hence were rushed by Paramedics. Cops claim that those found were the two passengers inside the vehicle.
An investigation into the heartbreaking incident has been announced by authorities while they urge the public and any eyewitnesses to come forward and reveal any information.
In the same way, Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes explained that he and his team were currently working so hard to try and figure out how the exact collision had taken place.
“Please, if you happened to be at the area at that time and saw what had taken place, come and get in touch”- the detective continued.
Police have also revealed how the junction between Burns Road and Longfellow Road will most likely remain closed until further notice.
It is still unclear how the vehicle managed to get out of control and slam into the tree, leading to the tragic deaths of two teens while leaving two others hospitalized.
