Horrifying news reports have revealed how a gorgeous toddler had passed away in the most tragic circumstances.
The heartbreaking incident took place when the 17-month-old baby ingested a button type of battery, leading to his tragic death, as revealed by his family.
Little Hugh McMahon who hails from Motherwell was then quickly rushed by his parents to a nearby local hospital, right after he had accidentally swallowed the deadly little object on the eve of Christmas.
But despite the great efforts put forward by the medics, he just couldn’t make it out alive and the ingestion led to too much damage.
Sources claim that the toxicity produced resulted in sudden and swift organ damage that his tiny body couldn’t bear and that’s why he passed away on Boxing Day.
“It was not a Christmas that any parent would ever wish upon their worst enemy,” the grieving mother and father revealed while recalling their baby that many referred to as gorgeous.
Christine and Hugh McMahon are now asking a number of motorcyclists to come forward and assist in providing an entire funeral escort for their little one because they claim he loved motorcycles so much.
The child’s funeral is scheduled to take place next week on Thursday where loved ones and citizens in the neighborhood are expected to attend after the tragic news broke out.
“We wish to give him a little tribute because he loved motorcycles so much,” the grieving parents revealed.
