The grieving grandmother of the female cop who took her life just days after her boyfriend did the same is speaking out.
Deputies Clayton Osteen and his partner Victoria Pacheco died in the most tragic manner imaginable, leaving behind a one-month-old orphaned son.
Both officers took their own lives, just days apart and now the female officer’s grandmother claims that the duo has gone together forever now.
The granny revealed her sentiments via a series of emotional posts on social media where she revealed details about the couple’s love story and how their deaths that took place days apart were destined. Moreover, she has even referred to their love for one another as one that could be seen in the Romeo and Juliet love story.
Meanwhile, loved ones are still mourning the sudden and unexpected loss of the sheriff’s deputies as they both were believed to be noble and highly professional individuals who gave their heart and soul to their profession.
“They were both just so happy when it came down to welcoming their child together. He was only one month old and now he’s orphaned and this was not something that many saw coming,” revealed heartbroken family members.
Osteen was a former Marine who tried to take his life on New Year’s eve and was soon taken off of a life support machine, just two days later.
The grief of his sudden death was reportedly too much for his lover to bear, who soon committed s*icide, days later. The couple welcomed their beautiful son named Jayce in the month of November. Now, the orphaned child is currently being looked after and cared for by his uncle.
“They were so in love with each other and they looked forward to growing their family together. It’s a huge loss for us and we just don’t know how to accept the fact that they’re gone,” added the couple’s friends and colleagues.
