Terrifying reports have gone on to speak about how a toddler was reportedly killed in a tragic and deadly drive-by shooting incident that took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Local media outlets spoke in detail about how the local authorities are now on the lookout for the suspected gunman who they believe is involved in the horrifying tragedy.
Sources have gone on to mention how all it took was a single gunshot bullet to kill the child named De’Avry Thomas.
The horrifying incident is believed to have taken place on Sunday when the cops hailing from the Pittsburgh Police Department rushed to the scene after terrifying calls were made for help and rescue in regards to the crime.
Calls spoke about how shots had been fired in multiple directions downtown as recently revealed by a recent press release.
After arrival, the 18-month-old toddler was seen covered in blood but the police claim he was not believed to be the target but in the passed away as a vulnerable victim that appeared to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He suffered from a single gunshot injury that was critical enough to take his life in the end, confirmed the authorities handling the case. Therefore, he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the crime by paramedics.
“I really do wish that he had been there for my young nephew. I really wish that these types of situations could be prevented from taking place”- cried the grieving loved ones of the young victim.
A recent vigil was held in honor of the loving toddler as the entire community united to grieve the child’s loss while sending out love and well wishes in honor of his name while tributes began to pour in through social media too.
