The famous tycoon of renowned jewelry brand Tiffany’s has tragically passed away after plunging to her death from a cruise ship.
Sources from local media outlets shared how the incident took place while she was traveling in Turkey where the mysterious incident arose at about 3 am at night.
The owner was identified as 71-year-old Dilek Ertek who reportedly passed away after jumping into the sea off the coast of Tahiti on 26 October.
She had reportedly run the famous Tiffany’s jewelry operations that arose in Turkey for nearly 30 years. And she was also the mega name behind the store’s opening in Istanbul in the year 1995.
Ertek was reportedly believed to be on the Norwegian Spirit Cruise shit that boarded on the 24th of last month. Her main intention was linked to celebrating her 72nd birthday but who knew that it would be a doomed journey that would bring her back dead?
The ship was supposed to reach the small island of Bora Bora on November 5 and then it would have come to an end in Hawaii. But it never made it to its final destination, as confirmed by local media outlets.
Under very bizarre circumstances, it was mentioned how she went missing all of a sudden for two days. And now, she has been declared dead.
A lot of mystery and unanswered questions have arisen after the tragedy as local authorities are now taking part in an investigation to help find clues that could lead to what exactly happened.
Other speculations arose regarding how she had kept quite a few of her jewels in the cabin. And now, those have gone missing.
Shocking security footage showed her falling overboard and while it is described to be an unknown figure, sources believe it is her.
For now, her body is yet to be retrieved, despite efforts to locate her. Also, the search has been called off as well.
