The thug who reportedly left his former teenage girlfriend brain-damaged for life after kidnapping her will now have his soft jail sentence reviewed.
19-year-old Angel was left brain-damaged after the accused 20-year-old suspect named Bowskill abducted her from the streets after erupting into a violent argument.
While Bowskill was sent to jail and given a jail sentence comprising of two years, many felt that it was just too lenient and the thug should be kept behind bars for a much longer duration, considering his horrifying crime.
Angel suffered the worst form of damage and injuries to her brain after she tried to escape from her former boyfriend’s moving vehicle by jumping out.
She crash-landed and hit the ground in a violent manner, after which she was rushed to the hospital.
Now, the young teenager has been left unable to walk, talk, or even feed herself, as revealed by her loved ones.
The news about the review of Bowskill’s lenient punishment was recently announced by the Attorney General who confirmed how she had received a massive outcry of complaints regarding the incident which many deemed to be unfair.
For this reason, she has confirmed how Britain’s top advocate and a team of legal advisers will sit down for a discussion and thoroughly review the case again, in an effort to determine whether or not it should be sent to the Court of Appeal for a formal review or not.
Horrifying footage from the incident was revealed by authorities that shows the culprit kidnapping Angel like she was some sort of ragdoll across a very busy street.
He then chose to bundle her up and dump her inside his van before taking off at a swift speed with his friend who accompanied him during the kidnapping attempt.
