Terrifying reports are coming in from Texas where a woman was allegedly poisoned by a napkin after her restaurant dinner.

According to local media outlets, the woman happened to be celebrating the occasion of her birthday at an eatery when all of a sudden, she stumbled upon a napkin.

This was wedged between her door and therefore she did have contact with it. But after touching, she immediately knew that something was wrong. There was a terrifying tingling sensation taking place. Hence, without any further delay, she was reportedly rushed to a nearby local hospital, sources added.

Authorities have taken notice of the incident and have kept officers on alert for further attempts like these as investigations into the startling incident begin. Moreover, according to them, this is probably a new tactic used as an attempted kidnapping scheme.

The victim was identified as Erin Mims who was celebrating her birthday at a local eatery, alongside her husband. But this is definitely not how she imagined things to end in Houston, after her splendid meal at the eatery.

Mims adds that she is a very OCD and germaphobe type of person. Therefore, she usually would never ever touch something like this but after a couple of drinks, she assumed that perhaps it was a joke by her own partner.

Thinking it was hilarious, she just tossed it out to the side using her fingertips. But when she asked her husband why he did something like that, he immediately denied it and looked concerned.

“I went inside the eatery, washed my hands, and just like two minutes later, my fingers were tingling”- she explained.

And then shortly after that, her entire arm began to tingle and that’s when she started panicking. Everything went numb and she even started to feel lightheaded and breathlessness took over.

Thankfully, she’s doing ok now, after seeking treatment from the Houston Healthcare Hospital. Although at first, her vitals weren’t stable. That is also where she was diagnosed by doctors with acute poisoning due to an unknown substance.
