Family Of Teenage Girl, 17, Who Passed Away While On The Way To See Christmas Lights Speaks Out


A teenage girl died tragically while on the way to see Christmas lights after getting involved in a massive car crash.

17-year-old Kinslee Creed of Georgia was traveling through Harris County, Georgia, as a passenger when another vehicle crashed into her SUV on Hadley Road.

According to the reports, the high school senior was in the front passenger seat of a Chevy Tahoe when the driver of a Chrysler 300 made an improper lane change and slammed into the car causing it to stray off the road and overturn.

While the teenager was rushed to the hospital alive, she succumbed to her injuries on Monday.

Kinslee’s loved ones have since revealed that the girl was on her way to see Christmas lights when the accident took place.

“I don’t have the words as my world has crashed down and my heart has shattered in a million pieces,” grieving mom, Laura Buice, said.

“I do want everyone to know I see the messages and posts and I see how my sweet girl has impacted so many lives. Even though I can’t reply right now please keep sharing and posting, so I can see her as each of you saw her.”

Paying a tribute to the teen who was “unapologetically herself” were also her friends and relatives.

“You were sunshine in human form, and no one could ever dull your light. We love you, Kinslee. Thank you for the way you lit up our lives,” one tribute read.

Meanwhile, a fundraiser for Kinslee’s memorial and funeral was launched.

“As many of you know Kinslee Creed, a 17 year old senior from Callaway High School, was in a very bad car accident Friday night on her way to see Christmas lights. She’s been in ICU in critical care since. Her parents along with many other family and friends have been by her side every single second,” the initial post on GoFundMe read.

“Not leaving the hospital at all. They’ve had to take time off from work and the holidays are right around the corner. Please let’s rally together and help this family with medical expenses, food, bills and the holidays to help ease that strain from them.”

In the update, Amy Hollady added: “Unfortunately, after fighting a hard battle Kinslee has gained her angel wings. The family does not have life insurance and need help with funeral expenses. Anything helps. Thank you all for the prayers.”
