The parents of Cheryl Hunter Brown are finally speaking out after the sudden and tragic death of their precious daughter.
Cheryl is believed to have taken her life right before the start of her senior year. And now, her parents have finally found the courage to raise light on the issue that they believe has torn their home apart.
The parents revealed how Cheryl used to be a glue that held not only their family together but so many others.
They hope their story can inspire other young teens to be so much more compassionate because the loss of a child has really brought so many things into perspective.
Cheryl is believed to have passed away after she was reportedly bullied by others in her school. She was a bright and beautiful student that loved going to school but that all changed when she was faced with so much negativity from all directions.
The couple who hails from Florida spoke to Fox and added that Cheryl’s death came right before she was going to start her senior year but the mental pressure of dealing with all the bullying really got to her.
She was talented in her extracurricular activities as well and even played for her school’s hockey team. But cyberbullying got the best of her in the end.
It was the sexual, emotional, and physical abuse that took her life in the end, her parents revealed in a shocking series of revelations.
They did add how their daughter did make some mistakes in her life and that’s why she was blackmailed and bullied by so many. Not only was she broken and hurt, she felt so alone. It was like she had no choice but to suffer in absolute silence, they explained.
A memorial for the teen was recently held where a large group of friends and loved ones gathered to mourn a senseless death of a girl that fought with all her inner demons.
