Heartbreaking reports have confirmed the death of a teenage girl who reportedly went missing in California recently.
According to local media outlets, Trinity Backus was found dead in the woods just two days after she was last seen leaving a sleepover barefoot.
Trinity Backus was a native of Nevada County. She was last discovered at her aunt’s home on the Kentucky Ravine Road.
Backus was very popular in school, she did some amazing jobs as a leading high-school basketball player. Moreover, it would be wrong to call her an absolute standout for obvious reasons.
During the sleepover, she was joined by another friend. But the cops are yet to make it official that there was not even a single trace of foul play or hints that foul play was involved.
She was last seen wearing a maroon-toned robe and a pair of pajama pants. And that’s when cops mentioned how she had walked away from the residence at nearly 10:30 pm but never came back.
Local police noted another strange finding. This was linked to how she didn’t have any form of shoes or footwear yesterday.
“She just left the home barefoot. And that in itself was shocking for us”- the authorities explained.
For now, her cause of death is yet to know. Meanwhile, detectives have gathered some important details that entail the term, ‘nothing suspicious’. But until and unless the post-mortem results don’t come out to be clear, they are all zipping their mouths.
