Sadness and heartbreak have struck the state of Texas after a loving teacher who was awarded ‘mentor of the year’ was found dead in her own backyard.
The victim was recently identified by the authorities as 28-year-old Wendy Duan who cops stumbled upon during their search.
There were gunshot wounds located on her body and while the authorities are yet to disclose the matter in public, it’s quite clear that foul play was involved.
Moreover, the cops have even gone on to identify a few suspects that have been taken in for questioning as per the latest media reports.
The cops claim that this is a matter of domestic violence and according to them, plenty of evidence was there to defend their decision of pulling in the actual suspect and keeping him behind bars.
Meanwhile, more details linked to this case were made public recently. The cops say the incident took place on a Saturday just before the clock struck 10 pm.
The exact address was outlined to be 1100 Oxford Mill in the suburban region of Sugar Land.
As far as who the suspect may be is concerned, well, that is not known as of now. The authorities are remaining silent and hope to share more details soon in that light.
But those that knew this young woman are heartbroken at the news. They find it surreal that someone would actually take her life, knowing what an amazing person at heart she was.
The cops were made aware of this incident when several phone calls arrived and they had to do with complaints linked to several gunshots being fired. And when they reached the home, they saw the young woman dead on the ground in her background, covered with bullets marks.
