Transgender teacher Kayla Lemieux, who gained attention because of her prosthetic z-cup breasts and was put on unpaid leave, has landed a new job at a different school.
The principal of Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School in Ontario was forced to improve security as parents were warned that the school could be subjected to ‘disruptions’ and ‘protests’ after she was hired.
Lemieux previously worked at Oakville Trafalgar High but she was suspended after photos of her wearing her prosthetics went viral on social media.
Lemieux insists that her breasts are caused by a rare condition called ‘gigantomastia.’ But after receiving negative remarks online, she later admitted that she has never received a formal diagnosis.
Her account was also questioned after photos emerged showing her dressed as a man without blonde wig and large prosthetics.
Principal Tom Fisher was reportedly forced to implement measures to protect students, including special entry and exit plans.
The Toronto Sun was able to obtain a memo written by the Canadian secondary school’s principal, who reportedly acknowledged the teacher’s ‘gender expression’ was ‘recently the subject of public attention.’
“Should the school be subject to any disruptions or protests, we are committed to communicating with you as openly and as frequently as possible to ensure student safety – and to share any operational plans,” the memo said.
Fisher also described a tentative plan on how students should behave ahead of Lemiux’s arrival, including having them ‘enter and exit the building using assigned doors at entry and dismissal.’
Other requirements stated that parents or guardians must ‘email or call before coming to the school if they wish to visit to speak to an employee,’ ‘only using the front main doors,’ and ‘locking exterior doors during school hours.’
