A house cleaner has reportedly murdered her client after learning about her increased amount of wealth.
According to local media reports, 38-year-old Hanny Papanicolaouo initially denied the crime, stating how she had links with the incident. However, it was soon revealed how she was actually the one behind her client’s murder.
The victim was identified as 92-year-old Marjorie Welsh who died at her residence after being killed by Hanny.
Surprisingly, the house cleaner came up with the murder plan after she lost all of her own money during a night of poker. And that’s when her bank account dropped to $11.
Losing hundreds of dollars just did not sit down too well with the accused and for that reason, she began to think fast about how she would be able to get her money back in the fastest way possible. And in the end, this is what she thought of.
Before the savage attack was conducted by the housekeeper, the case’s court documents mentioned how the victim had inherited $8 million and this news opened her cleaner’s eyes who opted to do the evil crime.
While the victim passed away nearly six weeks later, she did mention to the police how it was her own cleaner that had tried to kill her.
The cleaner attacked the victim at her home on January 2 which was located in the inner west side.
After the old victim sounded the medical alarm, she informed responders about how the cleaner used her walking sticks to brutally beat her.
In addition to that, she even took giant pottery pots and aimed them at her. And in case that was not enough, she started to stab her in a repeated manner which led to critical injuries into her stomach and abdomen region.
