A giant water wave is believed to have taken the life of an innocent and loving young boy who was playing with his brother.

According to reports from local media outlets, the child was sitting on a rock and having a great time and within seconds, his happiness was converted into a tragedy. Out of nowhere, a giant water wave swept him away and he never came back.

The victim was identified as 11-year-old Zak Thompson and the location was recently described by authorities as a beach. Now, loved ones claim so many emotional tributes are pouring in from his school as many cannot believe everyone’s little buddy named Zak is no more.

Zak was described as a funny and cheeky schoolboy who enjoyed adventure and always lit up the room wherever he went.

His sense of humor was incomparable to many others. He is also believed to have had a great passion for water sports and beach trips but in the end, that turned out to be the ultimate cause of his tragic and untimely death.

Authorities claim that Zak’s two other family members managed to swim back to shore safely but he just couldn’t make it in time as the waves took him away forever.

After paramedics were called, his body was rescued and airlifted to a nearby local hospital in Wales, Cardiff. But tragically, he battled for his life and lost in the end.

As of now, the parents are being comforted by other loved ones as they call this event the biggest and most unexpected tragedy of their lives.

“He was right here talking to us this morning. And then we hear these terrifying reports. He’s gone forever, we’ve got to live with this grief forever”- his parents named Carli and Phil Thompson cried.
