A model from Russia has been found dead in a suitcase, one year after she went missing.
According to local media reports, the Russian star made headlines after referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin as a ‘psychopath’.
The 23-year-old victim was identified as Gretta Vedler who was killed right after one anti-Putin social media rant took place, where she could be seen boldly questioning so many others: ‘Can he really do anything?”
Sources claim that despite the tragic timing of her posts from January 2021 and her sudden disappearance, the duo is not believed to be linked.
Moreover, the 23-year old’s former boyfriend was actually the one behind the murder as he has now confessed to the police.
23-year-old Dmitry Korovin says he strangled her to death, moments before he drove 300 miles towards the Lipetsk region. And that is where cops believe he abandoned her body inside a car’s trunk.
In the same way, the model’s former lover confessed how the duo had a row in regards to money and not related to her personal thoughts and opinions regarding the Russian regime.
The ex-lover has also revealed to Russian authorities how he continued to post to the young model’s social media pages, giving the illusion to so many others that she was the one behind the activity.
“I wanted them to think that she was still alive”- he continued.
However, the suspect’s twisted plot was revealed after one of his close friends named Evgeny Foster, who is a known blogger, began to grow suspicious about his behavior.
He was the one who asked another person to file a missing person case and that is what led to officers making the harrowing and tragic discovery about the model’s death.
Recently, the country’s Investigative Committee has released one video where they have gone about confessing as well as demonstrating how he managed to kill the young model.
Therefore, all rumors regarding her death being related to her bold analysis of Putin have now been removed.
