Terrifying reports have spoken about a Texas airline worker dying after getting sucked into a plane’s engine.
Sources have confirmed how the horrifying tragedy ensued while the worker was on ground duty during the later hours of Friday.
According to the national transportation Safety Board, the flight in question was being taxied toward a gate in San Antonio. And then all of a sudden, the incident arose at about 10:20 pm.
At this moment in time, the officials claim to be investigating the matter and hope to find some answers to the tragedy soon. But the thought of a ground crew worker undergoing this is beyond tragic, added another.
Some reports have gone on to speak about how Unifi is responsible for the matter. The latter is the name provided to North America’s largest aviation service provider.
They are known for working with Delta Airlines for quite some time now. But a recently published statement from their side saw the firm deflect the blame on others. And it was just tragic for some people to see that.
From what we’ve seen and gathered at this point in time, it looks like the agencies involved are just trying really hard to gather as much data as they can on the matter.
But from what it appears, no one wishes to take the blame and is rather focusing on shifting it and getting it away from the operational processes involved.
“Out of respect for the deceased, we refuse to share any more information on this matter.
The police and other respective agencies are currently investigating the matter and we hope to provide full cooperation to them during this difficult time.
We sent out our condolences to the victim’s family at this moment in time”- the statement by the airline went on to read.
