This is the heartbreaking story of a mother who struggled to get an appointment with her doctor for several weeks, causing her to die in the end.
50-year-old Verna Jackson was struggling with the most agonizing stomach pains imaginable. She had no idea what it was and hence wished to visit her GP immediately. But she just couldn’t manage to get an appointment.
The pain was so severe that her husband recalled how she used to stand in agony on the balcony, hoping and wishing that it would magically go away. But never happened.
She was believed to have been suffering from pancreatic cancer and it was diagnosed at a point that literally killed her in no time, causing her heartbreaking story’s cause of death to be labeled ‘the quickest cancer’ ever.
Doctors claim it soon became a silent killer for this mother as that’s how fast it all took place.
The doctor did end up prescribing medication for a stomach ulcer and you’ll be shocked to learn that the pain later on returned.
After a few weeks, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died just a little later.
The victim’s sister explained how her dad ended up bumping into her in the village one day and she was in extreme pain and agony.
She knew immediately that something was not right but she just could not get her finger on the button.
Now, the family is raising their voice on the matter. They want to make people know that this sort of behavior is not alright and it just should never be accepted by anyone.
“It’s like playing with people’s lives”- she went on to continue.
