Hospitals in the United Kingdom have been put on alert after the fourth child tragically passed away from a Strep A infection.
According to reports from local media outlets, the child died from the same strain of bacteria that has taken the lives of three others, leaving the family heartbroken beyond words can be spoken.
The news of the youngster comes from Buckinghamshire and is the latest fatality to arise in terms of the alarming Strep A in Ealing.
The little victim was identified to be Ibrahim Ali. He was just 4 years old at the time of his death and had suffered from a massive cardiac arrest as revealed by his heartbroken family which is currently mourning his sudden death.
He was last seen attending the Oakridge School and Nursery in High Wycombe.
The news had come just moments after the country’s health ministry confirmed the death of another young student who died after getting infected by the serious Strep A bacterial strain.
Now, more reports are going to speak about how the death toll for such Strep A infections has risen to six and all of them happened to be young children.
Strep A infections were rarely seen as so dangerous in the past. They were known to cause scarlet fever and that’s about it.
Very rarely, if any, did doctors speak about complications so severe that they ended up in death.
Now, letters are being issued around various schools and nurseries in the country that warn about how there has been a serious rise in cases.
For now, there is yet to be any form of indication that proves that such deaths were actually related as more investigations into the matter continue.
