Actor Steven Crowley has shared how he saw ‘Never Back Down’ co-star Amber Heard ‘doing cocaine,’ alleging he found the ongoing trial ‘irritating’ as it was allegedly full of lies.
This comes amid the Aquaman star’s ongoing defamation trial against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
Crowley, who played the role of Heard’s character’s best friend in the 2008 movie, said he became friends with the actress after their second week of filming.
In an interview with Andy Signore, Crowley recalled: “I was at her place the first time we hung out and she is in the kitchen and she goes ‘You Party?’ and I’m like ‘Oh yeah, I party’ and she whips out some coco-colas (cocaine) and starts doing it.
“I go ‘Oh, I didn’t know that’s what party meant, I thought you meant to hang out or let’s go drink.’”
The actor accuses Heard of lying during the trial against the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
“When I am watching the trial and what’s going on, the thing that I find really irritating it’s just lies,” he continued.
Crowley continued: “At least Johnny Depp being flawed alcoholic drug addict, at least he is like open and admitting it but with her it’s like there is so many people who know that it’s not true why isn’t anyone saying anything?”
He also questioned why there were no text messages from the actress where she was talking about substances.
“She once said she would much rather be addicted to this, referring to cocaine, than to cigarettes,” he added.
Crowley also claimed that Heard got upset after hearing rumors about a production house considering performing drug testing. She allegedly told him that the move was ‘ridiculous.’
The high-profile defamation trial has been going on for several weeks and is drawing closer to its conclusion.
