Naomi Judd’s daughter is speaking up for the first time since her mother’s tragic death.

According to local media reports, Ashley revealed how her mother shot herself dead when she stepped out for a minute to greet guests. And when she returned, she found that she was covered in gunshot wounds.

Ashley says her mom used a firearm at the family’s ranch in Tennessee and killed herself. Moreover, the actress went into detail about how her mother and she were very close, and this is not something that she or anyone saw coming.

Wiping away her tears, the emotional actress mentioned how seeing her mom dead upstairs was the worst feeling in the world. It was just not something any one of them saw coming by miles.

Sources revealed in detail how the famous country singer had shot herself dead just one day before she was inducted into the country’s music hall of fame.

The singer is reported to have battled with some mental health problems as revealed by daughter Ashley on Good Morning America’s Thursday show.

The 54-year-old daughter was all choked up and surrounded by tears. This is said to be her first-ever television appearance since her mom’s sudden passing.

Ashley as well as her sister had performed alongside their mom for a number of years. But it’s only Ashley who is speaking up about the tragedy that has put her thoughts out in the public eye.

On the other hand, Naomi’s husband is said to have remained very tight-lipped in regard to the matter. He refuses to give any public interviews about his deceased wife and has just mentioned how he is having a very heartbreaking time regarding the ordeal.
