Horrifying reports have confirmed how a 34-year-old male continued to stab his pregnant girlfriend because he felt the child was not his.

The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Oscar Alvarez who has now been convicted of the heinous crime and sentenced to 14 years in jail.

Oscar explained to the courtroom how jealous and possessive he felt about his partner and hence he incorrectly assumed the child in her womb was not his.

For that reason, he began to stab her six times, until he made sure the unborn child was dead.

His grieving former partner appeared in the courtroom during his sentencing on Thursday and recalled the horrifying moment when she found out her baby was no more because of his evil and uncalled-for actions.

The victim was identified as 34-year-old Liv Abreu who was reportedly 26 weeks into her pregnancy when the terrifying attack took place against her.

While bleeding, the evil suspect failed to assist her or call the paramedics and instead allowed her to lie there in a helpless state as he continued to watch on.

“He denied me any help. It was the most horrifying feeling knowing that your child’s life was in danger. I was in so much pain”- she continued to mention.

Putting on a fresh pair of clothes, he started to flee the scene and disappeared in an SUV, as revealed by authorities.

But somehow the victim managed to reach for help by crawling to the neighbor’s home nearby. And that’s where a desperate plea for assistance was made to rescue services.

The victim was consoled by her legal team outside the courtroom in Bronx, moments after her ex-lover received his sentencing.

Now, she refers to him as the ‘guy she once knew’ while wiping tears and heading outside because she felt his actions were so unjustified, leaving her scarred forever.
