Officers were seen rushing to the address of a crime involving a woman who was stabbed to death at her own residence in east London.
According to reports from local media outlets, the woman was located by the side of another female who was reportedly covered in bloody knife wounds.
Officers reported rushed to the scene of the crime which was outlined to be Windmill Lane Newham and it was about 3 pm on that Sunday, October 25th.
The Met Police has just spoken in detail about how the family members of the victims were reportedly informed of the tragedy that struck them while a post-mortem had also been arranged for them to determine the woman’s cause of death.
The second woman was outlined to be in her 30s and was rushed to the hospital. But thankfully she survived and is doing better as her injuries were not life-threatening and were treated on time.
As of right now, the police are busy trying to track down a male who they claim was in contact with both women and knew them well. That’s all the details they’ve released so far on the matter.
The Chief inspector of the Met’s North Easy division has expressed great condolences to the victim’s family as they vow to carryout a comprehensive investigation to better determine what went on.
Moreover, no other details have been released so far in regard to the victim’s murder probe as the police claim it’s too early to say anything.
Local officers have been told to continue patrolling the area and search for more clues while they’re also inviting members of the public to come forward in case they’ve got more information on the matter and would like to share it with authorities.
