A nine-year-old schoolgirl has reportedly been stabbed to death in broad daylight while playing with her doll.
According to local media outlets, the horrifying and tragic incident took place on the streets of Lincolnshire as the cops have recently released an image and other details of the victim.
The cops are also trying to figure out the whereabouts of the suspect as some source claim the police is quizzing two people that are believed to have been involved.
The victim was identified as nine-year-old Lillia Valutyte who hailed from Lithuania. She was found lying dead on a quiet lane in the Boston area, yesterday at about 6 pm.
Devastating images have also been released that show the child during her happy moments of the past, leaving loved ones and her parents in a state of absolute heartbreak and grief as they mourn the loss of an innocent girl.
“She did nothing to deserve this. My baby was only playing with her doll”- the mother cried.
A recent picture of the schoolgirl wearing wings and celebrating her 8th birthday is now making viral rounds on social media, sources explained.
Meanwhile, one local resident explained how they had witnessed a doll’s pushchair that had been overturned on the roadside. During that time, emergency services were seen rushing to the crime scene, moments after the attack had taken place.
Locals in the neighborhood are in a state of profound shock as they appealed to the authorities to investigate the matter further and heighten security in the area where a young child was killed for no reason in broad daylight.
Meanwhile, the area’s local MP was seen making a public appeal for national assistance to help catch the killer so justice can be served.
