A controversial psychologist is turning heads around the world after she made fun of a leading plus-sized model named Yumi Nu.
According to local media reports, Jordan Peterson is known for making some pretty controversial claims and this just might be one of those.
The leading doctor is certainly not a happy fan of the current cover for Sports Illustrated that featured Yumi Nu. Dubbing the starlet as not beautiful, many were appalled at the sort of criticism and bashing out in public that was taking place.
Tweeting the model’s picture, Jordan Peterson mentioned how she was so sorry for the fact that she is about to say this but she’s just not a personal fan of her looks and feels she’s not beautiful.
But the doctor did not choose to stop there.
Instead, she went on and on about how there wasn’t going authoritarian guidance that would alter that.Other hateful comments included: “There is no room left for chunky women”-she continued.
But the magazine has denied all the allegations that so many had regarding the brand’s choice to move ahead with women that had more natural bodies.
As you know, beauty comes in all shapes and sizes but to see a huge comment being made by a clinical psychologist whose job is to tell people to love themselves for who they really are is really appealing to so many.
Jordan says that brands are now taking these moves as a tool for altering people’s standards of beauty.
“You can’t change the philosophy even if you wanted to she explained.
As a whole, so many viewers were not happy while others felt disgusted that a doctor could go to such dramatic extents to ridicule people who are already uncomfortable in their skin.
