James Franco is all set to testify in Johnny Depp’s defamation case worth a staggering $50 million.

According to local media reports, the Spider-Man star will be quizzed on whether or not he saw bruises on Amber Heard’s face during a particular visit to her apartment.

The 43-year-old movie star has been subpoenaed to come forward in the case and give his remarks.

According to local media reports, 58-year-old Johnny Depp filed the case against 35-year-old Amber Heard and the high-profile drama is now at the center of the public eye.

The suit was filed in the state of Virginia and it relates to a 2018 article from the Washington Post which Amber wrote regarding her survival against domestic abuse.

While the 35-year-old movie star failed to name her ex-husband in the article, it was quite obvious how Johnny Depp can be well identified by reading the piece.

Now, Franco’s involvement in the case comes after CCTV surveillance footage shows him paying a visit to Amber Heard’s residence.

For this reason, Johnny Depp’s legal team wants to know whether or not Amber Heard informed Franco about any confrontations she may have had with Depp or whether not he could see any recognizable bruises across her face during that period.

Reports claim that the 43-year-old Spider-Man actor’s apartment was located in the same block as Amber’s and that makes his testimony all the more pivotal in the case.

As part of his defamation case, Johnny Depp has reportedly included plenty of images showcasing his own bruised and battered face, adding another interesting twist into the entire fiasco that has left the media world stunned.
