Ukraine’s first attack using American-based HIMARS rockets has resulted in the death of 40 soldiers recently.
According to local media reports, the horrifyingly violent attack was said to take place in the Donbas region, where Ukraine’s military put up an incredible display of mighty bravery while fighting against their opponents.
Ukraine has also gone as far as to mention how the missiles were used to blow up the base that was reportedly hidden inside a school and that is what led to the soldiers being taken by surprise.
Shocking video footage of the incident was recently released as it showed the mighty building being blown out while cars marked with the letter Z went up in flames in the aftermath of the deadly attack.
Russia has now gone on to admit that the attack made use of HIMARS rockets that were supplied to Ukraine by the US. But instead, they are now claiming that the rockets actually went on to strike a military-based hospital in the region.
The weapon is known for its powerful strength and accuracy and is deemed to be an incredible invention for long-range artillery, reports confirmed.
In a seperate incident that is being deemed as the second attack wih the same deadly weapon, sources revealed that it was used to kill Russia’s 49 year old commander whose named was Andrei Vasilyev.
He was an elite paratrooper who passed away in a strike at one unknown location during the later hours of Friday, as confirmed by the country’s local media outlets.
The death marks the 56th top officer of Putin but Ukraine is staying on high alert amid growing fears of a major attack that could end up serving as retaliation for the incident by the Ukrainians.
