Shocking footage from the Bronx area showed how a vandal was busy smashing cars belonging to the New York Police Department.
The vandal could be seen smashing all the windows of the vehicles that were parked in a Bronx precinct during the early hours of Tuesday morning, as reported by the state police recently.
Moreover, authorities have also gone on to claim how the suspect had used a number of brinks as a tool to carry out damage of a severe kind.
In the footage that has now gone viral, the suspect takes the bricks and shatters the glass of the rear windows of two of the vehicles, that many identified as marked patrol cars.
The exact time of the incident included the later hours of the night, around 2 am, at the 42nd Precinct.
The surveillance footage that was recently shared by the cops showed how the man began chucking heavy objects at the front windows of all the parked vehicles.
But right after he carried out the destruction, he managed to flee rapidly from the scene and is still at large.
Cops are still investigating the matter and hope to find the suspect soon, as revealed by local media outlets on Thursday.
The growing crime rates in New York as a whole are turning into a major concern for not only authorities but citizens as well who are hoping for a miracle to occur, sometime soon.
Recent statistics have gone on to show how the current crime index of the Bronx alone stands at 14, with 100 being the safest!
