This is the story of a miracle that one man received after welcoming the birth of his son.
According to reports from local media outlets, the man named Shaun Resnik reportedly has been making the headlines for some of the most bizarre yet unbelievable reasons.
Recently, he was hailed as the world’s first man in history to ever give birth to a son in the Australian city of Victoria. Today, he is living his wonderful dream of being a dad to a son named Eli Michael who was born in March.
But it certainly was not an easy journey for him, that’s for sure. Resnik initiated the whole process at least 3.5 years back. Moreover, he was dubbed as the first single man in history to welcome a child through surrogacy despite the very strict rules and regulations in place, thanks to surrogacy.
Eli was reportedly carried in the womb of a surrogate mom named Carla Pincombe. While speaking for a recent interview with a leading media outlet, 7News, Shaun really opened up about how the whole process has been so overwhelming for him.
After laying eyes on his son for the first time, the new dad couldn’t hold back his tears. It was a blissful moment for him because never in a million years did he expect this blessing in the form of a child to come to him as a single man.
“It’s a love that I’ve never felt before. It’s like a combination of joy, surprise, relief”- the new dad went on to add.
The challenge of surrogacy can never be denied for obvious reasons. While some couples prefer to use adoption, others get success through surrogacy due to the strict rules and costs in place.
And that’s why Shaun says his miracle baby is definitely one of his life’s biggest blessings that he couldn’t be more grateful about.
