An employee has reportedly been shot in the face outside renowned American fast food restaurant McDonald’s in Brooklyn.
According to tragic reports from local media outlets, sources revealed how the value of food seems to be more than the cost of human life, not to mention the ever-growing issues of weapons and violence in the state of New York.
Sources added how an argument between one female customer and the store’s employee got really intense and then all of a sudden, the duo felt the need to go outside and carry on with their verbal altercation.
However, that didn’t go down too well as the customer’s son was seen getting involved and had been armed too. He pulled out his gun and shot the employee in the face, right before the duo made a quick run for it.
Sources said the bullet was fired straight into the fast food chain’s worker’s face. He was believed to be a 23-year-old and was immediately rushed to a nearby local hospital and is doing ok but required immediate medical attention.
The exact location of the tragedy was detailed to be 1531 Fulton Street in Bed-Stuy at about 7 pm in the evening.
“We just know that the victim was rushed in the state of being critical to the nearby Brookdale Hospital”- explained one witness who happened to be located at the scene of the crime.
For now, no charges have been filed but sources claim that the cops took the 20-year-old into custody after tracing his whereabouts.
Sadly, this is not the first time that a fast food employee has been shot at work in this city this year as crime rates peak to a new high.
