Horrifying reports are coming in from Chicago where a 3-year-old boy was shot dead in front of his young siblings.
According to local media outlets, the young child was seated in the back with his other brothers and sisters. But a terrifying road rage incident led to bullets piercing through the vehicle and straight into his tiny body.
The little child has been identified as Mateo Zastro who was riding with three siblings in Chicago’s streets during the evening hours of Friday.
The entire community has been devastated after hearing more about the heartbreaking news. Moreover, sources revealed that this happens to be the second incident of its kind to occur in recent times and it has so many authorities panicked and worried as the crime rate has jumped to new highs in recent times.
As of right now, no arrests have been made in relation to the incident. But the cops seem to be on a hunt for a red colored sedan that is believed to have followed the mom’s car.
With more devastating reports about Chicago’s spiraling crime rate taking center stage as we speak, around more than double the rates of crime incidents were noticed and reported. Citizens are believed to be living in a state of absolute panic and fear, since then.
As investigations into the heartbreaking case continue, many can’t help but wonder what made the gunman open fire on a vehicle that was filled with no one but a mother and her beautiful children.
While the authorities claim they have evidence that the suspect was driving a red-toned Ford Mustang, other reports proved otherwise.
Thankfully, the mom and the rest of her kids that were seen in the vehicle remained unharmed but seeing their own loved one die in the most senseless incident has them shaken to the core.
