Horrifying new reports have revealed how three cops have been charged for shooting a young girl to death after a high school football game.
Local media outlets revealed how the three officers from Pennsylvania were charged in connection to the violent and tragic killing that took away the life of the innocent 8-year-old girl while wounding up to three people.
The shooting began after a high school football game ended, officials revealed.
The accused were identified as officers from the Sharon Hill police department and the names of the accused were also made public recently.
They included Devon Smith, Sean Dolan, and Brian Devaney. All three members of the police force were reportedly slapped with up to 12 counts of voluntary as well as involuntary manslaughter, followed by reckless endangerment from the shooting that reportedly took place on the 27th of August.
The news was confirmed by the Delaware District Attorney’s office on Tuesday as it had taken place right outside the Academy Park High School in Sharon Hill.
Moreover, so many fans were at risk during the attack as a large crowd could be seen exiting the game that took place against Pennsbury High School, as revealed recently by prosecutors of the case.
Police have recently released a report that stated how one individual by the name of AJ had started an argument with a teen named Hasein Strand and before they knew it, things got out of hand real quick.
A round of gunfire could also be heard from miles away and that indicated how swiftly the matter escalated, forcing cops to intervene as they were stationed right opposite to the exit of the stadium.
After seeing bullets being fired in the air, the officers opted to discharge their weapons in the football field’s direction, leading to the tragedy.
