Being in a relationship is a tricky affair and this next story about a couple has left the internet divided for obvious reasons.
A man is revealing how his girlfriend stains his crisp white bedsheets ‘red’ every month, thanks to her period stains.
While he may have ignored it during the start of the relationship, it’s getting on his nerves and now he has decided to make her pay for his new sheets because he can’t even begin to imagine how unhygienic and wrong it is to be sleeping in them.
Putting up his personal story on the Reddit platform to see whether or not his decision was right or wrong, the man began by mentioning how he had been dating his partner for nearly a year.
Since the couple got so well along, they opted to move in together. Since his girlfriend didn’t have too much furniture of her own, most of the things in the new apartment are his, including the bed and sheets.
As you can probably tell by now, the man is a neat freak and while she generally is too, some things have created a rift between the two.
“I am certainly not one of those men who get grossed out by the fact that women have a menstrual cycle. I go out and buy her feminine products and I certainly don’t get weirded out when she mentions it,” he explained.
But when or if any blood manages to get on the bed’s mattress or sheets, it really grosses him out and he goes absurd.
Recently, he noticed a blood spot on the bed and it really ticked him off as he knew it was his girlfriend’s fault as she was on her period. Moreover, the fact that his girlfriend thought it would be ok to sleep without anything on was mind-blowing for him and he lectured her about how that was not okay.
“I told her that she was being irresponsible and that this is her fault. And that’s why she’s going to be paying for new sheets,” he added.
