Many were beyond appalled to learn that the lead character that represented and looked like a woman was actually being played by a man! Yes, we kid you not, and were as surprised as the rest of the world.

Jennifer Walter’s origin story may be wrapped up but the controversy continues as to why a female was not chosen.

Seeing Maslany replicate the famous Green Goliath after hurting herself after the chore of changing her tire in the opening scenes had people convinced that was a female. But they were definitely wrong. This whole time, it was a male and people are literally shaken by the details.

In case you’re wondering who the real male actor was all along, well, it was a job well done by influencer and pro-bodybuilder Devon Lewis.

And we know all of this news thanks to all of the behind-the-scenes talk and footage shared by the actor himself. This shows him getting all glammed up in full green garb while giving his best as She-Hulk.

Right before this shot, he says that the whole scenario is really funny for him. The reference he makes is to a TikTok video that features him but what he finds appalling is how all the praise is given to a woman that never exists. He says that he’s the leader and people need to accept it because that’s the truth.
