A woman who just turned 101 is opening up about the real secret behind living a long and happy life!
According to her, it’s tequila and nothing else. As bizarre as the ordeal may sound to you right now, she says that she’s giving full credit to her drinking habits that have helped her through all of her life’s challenges.
The 101-year-old reportedly moved to Mexico when she was just 18 years old and says she lost all of her family members along the way. They passed away in the Great Depression when she was just 15.
But to survive in this tough world all alone, she says that it was her tequila that gave her the strength to carry on and she couldn’t be more grateful.
Mary Flip who hails from Illinois but now reportedly resides in Arizona says she gives full credit to tequila as it’s caused her immense pleasure and happiness during her darkest times.
She and her husband met in Mexico and that’s where the couple had their six kids together.
What is so interesting is how she opted to celebrate her big 101 birthday celebration with something rather unique. She chose to break tradition and opt for another drink which meant putting the tequila on the side for today.
Instead, she was going to opt for beer to ring in the celebration of her new year in life.
Her viral images are now taking social media by storm and it doesn’t take a lot of brain cells to realize that she’s living her best life at this age too!
