The parents of Michigan school shooter Ethan Crumbley were recently put on high watch in jail after the judge for the case set up their bail at $500,000.
Both James and Jennifer Crumbley are on su*cide watch in prison. The Sheriff reported how each Crumbley is behind bars but isolated and well away from one another as officials execute extreme precaution.
The parents of the accused suspect who shot and killed four innocent classmates while wounding others broke down into tears in the courtroom, as the judge read out their charges aloud on Saturday morning.
The couple was captured in Detroit, near the Canadian border, with many reports indicating how they may possibly have had the intention to flee and hide.
In the same way, authorities have gone on to reveal how cops are currently investigating another individual who is suspected to have assisted the couple in hiding out at a basement art studio as police tried to track them down.
Each parent of the shooter pleaded not guilty to four charges of involuntary manslaughter with a bail of $500,000.
Meanwhile, the couple’s 15-year-old son is being held without any bail, on charges relating to murder, terrorism, as well as attempted murder too.
The horrifyingly tragic incident at Oxford High School in Detroit, Michigan killed four people in total while wounding at least seven more.
“There is no indication that either of the parents was suicidal but we are exercising extreme forms of caution. Our amazing corrections team is doing suicide watches on all three individuals and for that reason, they are all in custody and in isolation,” the Sheriff explained.
In the same way, the Sheriff’s department spoke about how they strongly believe that the Crumbley’s were assisted to get to that location near the Canadian border, just as news of their arrest warrants were released.
