Savannah Chrisley has paid heartbreaking tribute to former NHL player Nic Kerdiles after he tragically died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 29.
The reality TV star took to Instagram and shared a photo of them sharing a sweet kiss, writing: “I’m still hoping you respond to my text.
In another post, the 26-year-old posted a photo of them walking on the beach while holding hands.
Chrisley wrote: “Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today… I miss and love you. I’ll forever save our last messages of ‘I love you.’
“Please send me a sign that you’re ok… maybe it’ll be thru a ham and cheese crepe… Or pasta with white sauce… or maybe even your favorite carrot cake.”
She concluded her heartbreaking post: “We loved hard… and I can’t wait to ride bikes along the beaches of heaven with you one day.”
Kerdiles and Chrisley called off their engagement in 2020 and decided to split.
In an interview with PEOPLE at that time, Chrisley said that they have decided to mutually ‘call it quits’ as they believed that they ‘rushed into things.’
“There’s no hatred between the two of us…and in all honesty…that makes saying goodbye even harder,” she expressed.
“We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually.”
Chrisley’s brother, Chase, also paid tribute to Kerdiles.
“No words… I love you man,” he wrote alongside a photo of them on a golf course.
Kerdiles, a former NHL player for the Anaheim Ducks, passed away after a fatal motor accident on Sunday morning only hours after he shared a photo of himself riding his bike.
The Ducks said in a statement: “We’re heartbroken to hear the news about Nic Kerdiles, who died in a motorcycle accident this morning. An Irvine native, Nic became the first player from Orange County to play for the Ducks, in 2017. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.”
