Meghan’s estranged half-sister Samantha Markle has blasted the Duke and Duchess’s Netflix documentary and called it fake.

The 58-year-old daughter of Thomas Markle has long been vocal about Meghan’s strained relationship with her father and went on to accuse the Duchess of ignoring him and causing him heartache.

Now, Samantha also lashed out at her half-sister’s Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan in which the couple accused the British media of racism and took several jabs at the Royal Family saying they didn’t protect Meghan from vicious attacks.

“Wow, it’s just been a series of lies and I can’t believe we’re essentially looking at a $100 million fake news PR machine. It’s just projection at its finest and its almost comical, god, just so not true,” Samantha said in an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

While she found plenty of issues with Meghan’s claims, Samantha says the statements about their shared grandmother – Doris May Rita Sanders – were the last straw.

“The whole grandmother thing – that just did it for us. I think my grandmother would be rolling over in her grave if she saw that. [Meghan] didn’t take care of her, she visited her,” the 58-year-old claimed.

In the Netflix series, Meghan claimed that she took care of her grandmother in her final years after claiming she saw a grandma figure in Queen Elizabeth II.

“I had a really great time with her [the Queen]. I treated her as my husband’s grandma knowing that of course there has to be a completely different sense of propriety and whatnot in public,” she said.

“When we got into the car in-between engagements, she had a blanket and she put it over my knees and we’re sitting in the car with this blanket, and I thought, I recognize and respect and see that you’re the queen but in this moment I’m so grateful that there is a grandmother figure.

“Because that feels like family and because I was so, so, close with my grandmother and I took care of her in her final years.”

Markle also used her interview as an opportunity to reach out to the Royal Family and urge King Charles to set “clear boundaries” because Meghan and Harry allegedly set “a dangerous precedent.”
