BREAKING: Russian Soldiers Execute A ‘Disabled Ukrainian Volunteer’ In His Home


Russian soldiers stand accused of shooting dead a disabled Ukrainian volunteer in his home in Luhansk, Ukraine.

Alexander Kononov was a brave man who dedicated several years of his life to fighting for his country and its sovereignty by assisting Ukrainian soldiers in their fight against pro-Russian separatists in the self-proclaimed breakaway state of Luhansk People’s Republic.

During the 2014 war in Luhansk, Kononov was captured and tortured by Luhansk People’s Republic militants who released him after more than three months of captivity.

According to the reports, he then continued fighting for his cause by delivering water, food, medicine, and other supplies to the Ukrainian troops in the embattled region.

Now, amid Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, Russian soldiers stormed the volunteer’s house in Borivskyi and shot him dead in his wheelchair.

“Alexander Kononov, Ukrainian volunteer, killed by Russians in his own house in Borivskyi, near Severodonetsk,” Luhansk Oblast Governor Serhiy Haidai said in a broadcast.

The shocking news comes as it came to light that the Russian troops shot dead an American journalist, Brent Renaud, while he was filming refugees Irpin near Kyiv.

According to the reports, the invaders opened fire on Renaud and the other journalists he was with while they were in a car. Renaud was killed in the attack and another reporter was injured.

Meanwhile, the Russian attack on Ukraine’s democracy has hit a new low as two Ukrainian mayors were kidnapped by the invaders.

On Sunday, the Ukrainian government announced that Mayor Yevhen Matveyev of Dniprorudne was arrested and kidnapped by Russian soldiers.

“I call on all states & international organizations to stop Russian terror against Ukraine and democracy,” foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba said after the oppressors arrested the Ukrainian mayor.

The kidnapping comes days after the Russian forces abducted Ivan Fedorov, the mayor of Melitopol, following their occupation of the city. The Russians have since replaced the mayor with their own candidate.
