Russell Crowe was spotted roaming the streets of Rome with his girlfriend in a rare sighting.
The 59-year-old Hollywood legend was seen grinning while embracing his girlfriend, 31-year-old Britney Theriot, outside the Pierluigi Restaurant in Rome on Friday.
According to the reports, the couple has been touring Italy with Crowe’s two teenage sons, 17-year-old Tennyson and 19-year-old Charles, and visiting popular tourist destinations.
After enjoying lunch at the iconic restaurant, Russell happily posed with the staff for some selfies before taking off and resuming their planned activities.
For the occasion, the pair dressed casually. Russell wore a Ralph Lauren polo shirt over matching shorts and completed his look with reflective shades. Britney sported a navy top over a white tennis skirt. She also wore a bag over her shoulder and a pair of dark sunglasses.
The sighting comes shortly after Crowe shocked his fans by suggesting he’s deliberating stepping down from his acting career altogether.
Speaking to reporters at the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, the legendary actor said he was in that period where he struggles to recognize himself.
“I will take Ridley Scott [director] as my role model: he is still discovering new things in his work. Or I will just stop and you will never hear from me again. I haven’t decided what it’s going to be. These are two very valid choices,” he said.
During the festival, Russell was accompanied by his partner who has remained closely by his side throughout the last year.
Previously the couple was spotted in Australia where the actor performed alongside Britney as part of his Indoor Garden Party Tour.
Elsewhere, Russel and Britney are said to be busy flying between their properties in Sydney, Nana Glen, and Coffs Harbour where the actor aims to build the so-called Aussiewood.
